Im betting on a ramapo village. Distant 2nd it is s a retirement community.
If you ever looked at the sell off items they are extremely used up and priced high
at our clam meeting this past week there was a rather lengthy announcement asking for the donation of travel trailers.
needed to be at least 22 feet long and not older than a 2005 model year.
lots of other details were in the announcement about what was desired related condition of the trailer, etc.

yeah, so apparently there's a black separatist group called black hammer.
black hammer has raised money to purchase 200 acres of colorado land for 'colonised peoples' (black and native american people) and create a communist ethnostate (no whitey allowed).. it's may 11 so it can't be an april fool joke, lol ….

200 acres in most of colorado will support 1 cow,
will grow wheat if you use evil fertilizer. But not every year. Wells are 500+ feet. Leach fields are a evil means of racism once the white building inspector comes by.
For easterners Colorado is equal mix of west Kansas, interior Alaska, alps, high desert. Bottom land is in the millions and the rivers don't qualify as creeks most other places. Government is adopted from California

The local libertarian on TV just pointed out that logic loses the argument so here goes.
The spokesman I saw looked Spanish descent. If you think English colonists were brutal look at the Spanish ones. Add that 200 people is not a viable population in isolation.
i realize many here think that in-person meetings will return as soon as things are safe with covid.
but many acknowledge it will likely be 2022 or later when this happens.. surprisingly, many pimi jws in our congregation are not shy about saying they are fine with zoom meetings forever and do not want to go back to in-person meetings.
many speculate similar thoughts that are on this site....such as a combination of in-person and zoom meetings.
I have heard it and I do not get around. The face to face at the hall not that great. The time changing clothes, traveling all cut into necessary activities. With zoom you can multitask to stay awake (some material is not that riveting). Add in the awkward meeting times which cut a whole day into useless segments. ( 2 or 3 Sunday?, or staying up past bedtime).
Unless there us a monetary advantage things will go back to normal in time

Whilst at it, I could use one myself. I will settle for 15 foot and older. And a truck to pull it. I will donate a tent every bit as good as they claim Abraham used(Walmart)
Any bets that they want delivery too?

Travel trailers are going for a premium with isolation vacations. They can use them then sell, or just sell outright likectgeg are wont to do
someone made reference in another post that the awake magazine had ceased publication.
maybe i missed it since i have not been on here as much in the last 6 months.
is this true?
I googled it. Triannual. But you would think no. 1 would be out by now. There goes my college equivalent course. I will have to "read" a public WT from curiosity
while we are talking about economic stimulus i thought i’d bring up the $15 minimum wage.
pros and cons?.
Pro: only an adjustment of the original starting wage ( meant for parttime children dren according to one source
Con: basic costs follow the supply of money. Too many people stay in starting positions and never learn a skill.
Other wages would have to rise to attract schooled people. A corollary of this is the tuition increase ehen the government attempted to increase college attendance
do you think there will be another round of stimulus checks?
.
I would settle for a sheet of plywood. Can anyone say Weimar republic?
the new york times as well as other news agencies are reporting that in order to help save the planet we should limit our daily bathing.
they say daily bathing really because popular in the 20th century because elites decided to impress and use petroleum based soaps and take advantage of their indoor plumbing.
a lot of this daily bathing ritual was just for show.

So true. Looking back through my rosy glasses we had ( and still have as family memorabilia ) durable useful stuff. Cars you could work on ( and had to) The mansions of old were not much much larger than the homes few can afford being built now.
I do not want a 1914 (😊) dentist or surgeon though. The hippie movement of the 70s brought back scabies, lice and other 3rd world ailments; now the old hippies are in the driver's seat.
